Longleaf Pine Awarded Funding Through USDA Regional Conservation Partnership Program

On January 14, 2015, the United States Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced that 115 high-impact projects across all 50 states and Puerto Rico will receive more than $370 million in Federal funding as part of the new USDA Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP). As a Critical Conservation Area designated by USDA, the Longleaf Pine Range was awarded two projects - to read project summaries, please visit the following link!
