21 Projects Receive Funding for Longleaf Restoration
The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation announced on July 6, 2016 that $4.3 million has been awarded to 21 projects in eight states for longleaf restoration. The 21 projects will cover 14,800 acres and will also help 230,000 acres of longleaf habitat. Additionally, 1,800 private landowners will be provided with technical and educational assistance to restore longleaf on their land.
